Here is my first soap batch that worked. :roll: A previous one curdled and did something crazy not sure what. Still investigating. This was a Coconut / Olive / Canola recipe with sesame and avocado added at trace then HP in a giant glass stew pot i used to use for dying wool.

Does anyone have experience using sesame oil in their soap? I use it for other skin mixtures i make and just directly and think it would be an interesting addition to a soap recipe. I am a total newbie :roll:

Does anyone know if what they refer to as milk fat on soapcalc is butter or ghee? Just curious I've heard of soap being made of ghee but never heard much detailed info about that.

Hello! I just became intersted in soap making a few months ago and actually made my first batch of soap (using lye and all) a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping to be able to learn alot more from other people's experience with soap making and having fun at it.
