I love Lard and Olive oil in my soaps! So far I'm in love with a blend that I do with BB's Sensuous Sandalwood & Indian Woods Cybilla. It's supposed to be a masculine scent, but I love soft & warm tone to it. I call it Smoky Woods!!

I want to try a decent shaving soap. I did a little a research and the info that looks most promising is the use of both KOH & NaOH, with making the soap in the crockpot. Would I need to add glycerin for this to work? Any other takes on this???? Any good recipes???? Thank You!!
