FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

Whenever it's a actual solid pill, I just put a glob of peanut butter on a spoon and squish the pill in there (like benedryl). But for the generic nitenpyram it usually comes as a flavored powder in a capsule so you can open the capsule and dump the powder straight onto their food :)...

FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

Haha yes sorry I forgot to tell you about that. My dog would get hyper too but shes a bit more pudgy now (27 pound corgi) and maybe gotten more used to the Nitenpyram. I give her one whenever we come back from traveling that involves a lot of outdoor/other dog play. She's ridiculously sensitive...

    Bath Bomb serving size

Thank you!! I used Coconut oil :) At first I used jojoba, avocado, and shea butter melted but I found I needed to keep upping the oil. Then next batch I just used 2 tablespoons of coconut oil per 8 oz by weight of baking soda. edit: When I told the guests it had coconut oil in it they were all...

    WTH is wrong with this?

I know!! I booked the class mainly as a present for my mom because she wanted to learn. Hers was one of the ones that turned out like OP's. It looked fine after stick blending forever but then it still eventually separated. I swapped hers with mine while we were still in the car so she wouldn't...

    WTH is wrong with this?

That looks like when I went to a class and the teacher had told us we didn't need to mix the lye with the water (just combine) and some people mixed to fully dissolve, some didn't and it hardened on the bottom. Then that teacher had us pour our lye mixture to our oils and the ones with the lye...

FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

Did you get rid of your problem? Natural way for fleas never fully worked for me but it did help soothe her skin. Things I had to do when my dog had a continual infestation b/c apparently Frontline Plus didn't work where I lived in VA: 1. Flea comb the crap out of dog and manually remove as...

    Mega bath bomb mold ideas?

Lots of people mentioned the WSP ones and just wanted to comment. The large ones are 2.75" If they stop sticking together (each half), just dump it back in your bowl, spritz with alcohol, mix, spritz, mix, spritz, then back into the mold and squish! That always fixes it for me. I also found it...

    Bath Bomb serving size

Just wanted to mention, I had my baby shower today and everyone was very happy to get the bath bombs! :D:D We had less people at work than I counted for but that allowed people to grab 3-6 of them each lol.

How long does it lip balm to harden?

Yes! I made mine with about 27% beeswax by weight and had shea and cocoa as the other hard butters and they hardened within a few minutes. No chance of ever melting in pockets ;D I thought it might be too hard and last a little too long but one girl managed to use a whole stick in 2 weeks.

    Raw shea butter

The raw shea butter I buy is ivory colored. When you temper it you can get rid of all the little dirt/bugs in it. It usually falls to the bottom. I just discard the bottom of the pot instead of trying to filter it since the dirt particles are pretty tiny. Mine just smells like nuts.

    Bath Bomb serving size

Yay thank you!! I used 3 of the mini hearts the other day and though it was fun seeing it fizz and float I was wondering what people would think b/c they dissolve so fast lol. P.S. for anyone having problems of it fizzing from the food coloring/liquids, add the citric acid last! I put all my...

    Bath Bomb serving size

I made some bath bombs for my baby shower coming up. I'm not very used to getting gifts so I felt a little bit better making some stuff for the people coming to my shower (work shower). But the bags I bought I thought had a wide bottom so I could fit a couple in there but they ended up being the...

    Pregnant and soaping?

I'm ridiculously careful (ridiculously slow) so I've never head a spill (husband is not so hes had a burn on his neck lol). But what I do when cleaning anything that's touched lye is rinse with water like 5x, then with dishsoap and water thoroughly, then rinse with ACV all over it, then again...

25 % off everything WSP sale

Finally got a shipment notice! I'm venturing into the FO's for the first time so I ordered a bunch of little bottles to try :) Along with some cedarwood EO. I figured I had enough soap that generally smelled the same that I needed some variety.

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

I was trying to keep with it as long as possible (went a little over 2 weeks) and finally used ACV though I think too strong of a concentration. It made it non squeeky and I could finally run my hands through my hair again but it made it a little greasy feeling. Today I went back to regular...

    Pregnant and soaping?

I'm pregnant and soaping :) as long as you take all the same precautions as before like gloves, goggles, mask, mix the lye in an open area preferrably outside, vinegar ready, don't lift things you find too heavy, you should be fine! I did get quite a huge whiff of peppermint & tea tree oil...

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

So I ended up rebatching it because it was still quite soft but even the rebatch was soft though not as bad. I've been using the bar for the past week and a half hoping that it was just my hair needing to get used to it but there's forever a build up feeling. I have not used conditioner or ACV...

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

I made a version of this a little over 3 weeks back hot processed but it is still kind of soft. pH good, no zap, seems to do well and lather well in my hands but I haven't tried shampooing with it. Water as percent of oil weight: 34% Superfat: 6% (saved just 2.5% of jojoba + avocado to SF at...
