Does anyone have those big 50lb molds made from HDPE boards? I'm trying to figure out if 1/2" board would bow with 50lbs soap put in. Could you tell me the thickness of the sheets used for the mold, please? Thanks!

When mixing potassium and sodium hydroxide can you just calculate how much of each from the total amount of lye? I made my first CP soap last night and froze it to prevent gelling. It was frozen for around 12 hours and now it's sitting on my counter. When do you unmold it? This one was with coconut milk and I want to try the same thing with GM soaps tonight so I'm hoping to be able to use the mold again...
