I used bubblegum FO and it did the same thing. Mine was from Nee Directions though. I was so disappointed. I split the batch and made half of it into citrus mist and that one turned out great so I guessed it was the bubblegum that did it.

Does anyone have those big 50lb molds made from HDPE boards? I'm trying to figure out if 1/2" board would bow with 50lbs soap put in. Could you tell me the thickness of the sheets used for the mold, please? Thanks!

I think every liquid soap I've made I figured I messed it up, lol. I've made like 10+ batches by now. I haven't messed one up yet. Apparently, I am just impatient.

I did end up leaving it cook in the crock. I have a 4 week old who decided that today was time to have a growth spurt so he's been nursing the rest of the day. I'm about to check on it again. My recipe was 3lbs coconut oil 13.7 KOH 27.40 glycerine 0% superfat

The difference is almost 10oz of water when I change it.

So I did it following that link (double amount of liquid) and it won't come together. I've always just done whatever the soap calc put in... This is 100% glycerine so you'd expect it would trace very quickly and I've been blending for a good 40 minutes. This is the first time it's not worked out...

No I haven't. I need to make another batch tomorrow so perhaps I will try the glycerine method then and see how that goes.

I've made dish soap with 100% coconut oil and 0 sf several times and I like it but my only complaint is that it's kind of thin. That wouldn't be that big of a deal except I have lots of kids that do dishes and they just POUR that soap and before I know it it's gone! If I mixed KOH and NoAH would...

A good loom definitely makes it more enjoyable. Have you looked around for a small table loom? I paid $250 for my Dorothy.

Me! I've been weaving for a couple years I have a 45" 8S Colonial LeClerc and a small 24" 4S Dorothy LeClerc table loom. Hoping to buy an AVL soon.

It worked out well! I was able to selvage them and I'm loving the 100% coconut oil dish soap so far

I added some water and turned the crock to low. Hopefully it breaks it up some. The other recipe seems to be doing okay and I did the same thing. I guess I will find out tomorrow morning how it went. Thanks again!

I decided on the second option and I will see how it goes :-) Thanks! I think my 100% coconut oil soap might be a total loss though. It seized up pretty fast after I added the extra lye. I did this with two recipes today...yay me..lol
