    What are some oils that will make a hard soap, and are easy to find in the grocery store? I have coconut, crisco, canola, and olive oil, but I want some type of oil to make the bar harder.

    Rebatching soap? need help

    How do I go about rebatching soap? I made some using 1 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/2 cup canolia oil, 2 cups water, and 4 ounces lye. Ive been told that I need to add 10-12 more ounces of oil. Is that right? It was my first batch and I dont want to lose it. So, how do I rebatch the soap?

    Soap wont come out of mold!

    Today I made some melt and pour soap. I could not get it out of the mold. I had to cut it out. The kit said to let it sit for 40 min and then take it out. I let it sit for 1 hour and 30 min, and it wouldnt come out. I had to cut it out with a knife. Does putting it in the freezer really help...
