    I have tried to figure this out, but I'm still lost. I have read that superfatting is the same as a water discount. Or maybe I thought that's what I read. I'd assume that superfatting is the same as a lye discount. Aside from that, please help me figure out how to have a stronger lye...

    CP soap swirls

    Is it best to make swirls while the soap is still in a light trace stage? Is it even okay to add any soap into a mold at this stage? I want to avoid gelling the soap, so should I put it in the fridge or freezer? Thanks.

    Are MP soaps safe to use for facial soaps and are the organic bases better to use? The oils are organic, but I'm guessing that this doesn't change the fact that the soap goes through a chemical process.     Out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone has ever made cold process soap and also used melt and pour for either swirls or other embellishment ideas. My guess is that the lye would destroy the mp soap??? Thanks in advance :-)
