If you let it sit for a few weeks it will harden. Letting it cure removes the left over moisture in the bar and in turn hardens the bar of soap quite nicely.

1. The school of Soap (lol!) states that you shouldn't use glass for your lye water. Look at your local thrift store or other store for a plastic container that has the number 5 inside a triangle on the bottom. Also known as HDPE.

ok....so I was using soap calc....and out of curiosity I went to Brambleberry and MMS....ran the same recipe Basic oil recipe) through all 3 soap calculaters and each one gave me different amounts to use for lye water ratio. Why is this?....Why did each one have different amounts for the lye...
