Does the emulsifying wax take the place of both the borax and beeswax? Does it go in the oil phase?

I prefer stronger fo's. Would you say that SOS fo's are strong? How do their fo's hold up in CP?

This is the first I've heard of pre-mixing lye. Is there a post here that explains how to do it? How much can be made ahead of time? How long will it last?

I've tried a few and True Rose from Sweetcakes is my favorite. It has a nice soft fragrance and soaps in CP very well.

I love, love, love the Jonquil Fleur fragrance from Southern Soapers and they are out. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement?

I am making my first batch of goats milk and before I get any further I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. i just combined my goats milk and lye and it turned brown. Is it supposed to? Will my soap be brown? I have always thought gm soap was white!!!

Can anyone recommend a supplier that has salt tubes with silver threaded caps?

The flys have been horrible this year and my poor horses have had to deal with them all summer. I use fly boots and masks but haven't been able to come up with a good homemade spray yet. Maybe there isn't one? Anyone else have something that works for them? Kathy

My farrier swears by a mixture of vinegar, skin so soft, water and blue listerine mouthwash (sorry, I don't have the qty's of each) I've also seen folks use OFF.
