I added activated charcoal to my favorite soap recipe and it seems to have greatly lessened the lather. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, Sandy

I did not use the stick blender b/c it was starting to thicken too much. I'm hoping when it cures I can at least re-batch it. Right now you can't handle it w/o getting your hands stained.

I tried it, and as stated above, it didn't blend into the soap but instead just left little colored specks which rub off on your skin, washcloth, etc. Glad I only made a very small batch.

I'm so excited about my new soap boxes my neighbor made me I had to show them off!!! He only charged me $40 for an adjustable 24 inch wooden mold with cutter slit and removable ends How awesome is this? Makes as little as 4 bars up to 24 bars.
