    Pretty upset with Brambleberry

BeScented's Burst of Energy is really good. It's been a while since I had the BB version, but it's like I remember it, and it definitely sticks well in soap.

    The best Love Spell?

I have both on-hand right now. You can discern some very slight differences in the bottle, but they are pretty much the same when used in soap or lotion. I use the cost-revised version because there's really nothing better about the other that warrants paying more.

    The best Love Spell?

I like Aztec's Love Spell. NG's is a bit too orangey for me and lacks the creamy/musky/perfume note that makes Love Spell so special, but YMMV. Whatever you do, don't order it from Be Scented- both their Love Spell and Black Raspberry Vanilla really miss the mark- not bad fragrances by any means...

    Basic Fragrance

I concur on Oatmeal, Milk and Honey as a good basic scent. If you want to go for toward fresh, check out some citrus fragrances. Sage and Lemongrass from Brambleberry is a great one. I also really love Bamboo and White Grapefruit from Nature's Garden.

How did you endure the wait ???

I've soaped over 500 batches and still find the BB beginner kit recipe a very good basic. I use it regularly.

I Think I Made Successful Bath Bombs!!

Heh. I've made a few more batches this week, and my success rate is about 50%. Better than 100% fail, but I'm still learning for sure. :P

    Nooooooo!!

Aztec just listed it as well, so maybe get a sample of theirs?

I Think I Made Successful Bath Bombs!!

This is my third attempt, and I think I finally got it! I watched this video for her molding technique and used this video's recipe. Seriously, this was SO much trickier to learn than either soap or lotion. The struggle is real with these, y'all, and I DID IT! :bathtub:

Piano- my other obsession (besides soap and cooking)

Well done! Both my teenage daughters are proficient players with over 10 years experience each. I tried to learn as an older teen and got to the point where I could pick out simple tunes with both hands- barely. Learning as an adult is much more challenging, and I really don't play, so huge...

Do You Know How Many High LARD Threads There Are?

I've never done a 100% lard, so take this with a grain of salt. I do make a high lard recipe, and I definitely can smell it as I'm mixing things up. I usually pick up the smell as I cut the soap as well, especially if it's a light scent like OMH. However, once everything is saponified, cut and...

    Cheapest Fragrance Oil Sampler?

I have an order on the way from them. I'm in the same state as MMS, but it's still not the best deal for me. I like the free shipping, but it's offset by the fact that their fragrances are on the more expensive side. Most are in the 4.50-6.50 per ounce range. Oy. O.o I still use them...

    Cheapest Fragrance Oil Sampler?

That's a new one to me. I'll check them out! I think Aztec is the best deal I'm aware of. If you do the 5 for $5 deal, plus the current new $1 fragrance, and then add another 9 samples, it all ships for the padded flat rate, or somewhere around $35 for 15 ounces. Nature's Garden gives you .50...

    Cheapest Fragrance Oil Sampler?

I'm needing a fragrance oil fix and don't have a lot to spend. Factoring in shipping, which supplier will give me the most bang for my buck? Has anyone done this comparison already and could point me to the cheapest total price per ounce for a sample pack? Nature's Garden, maybe? Aztec...

    Soap Making Resource Resource Liquidation

I'm bummed that they're going under. I love their EOs, and the acrylic mold I have is my very favorite. Nobody else makes it with the same design where you can just push the loaf up from the bottom.

    The Struggle Is Real

Have you tried Perfect Man from Nature's Garden? It's a huge favorite with my peeps. I've sold entire loafs several times, and had people buy out every bar in my booth at once. It's usually ladies buying it for their man, but it seems to be quite a visceral favorite when sniffed.
