you can use silicone caulking and coat your mold. It still doesn't quite do the trick for me so I do that and then once it's dry and ready to use I use just a strip of freezer paper lengthwise so that I have something to grab to help ease the soap out of the mold. Hope that helps
I've been planning on doing some chocolate/cocoa butter soaps the last few days and haven't made it that far yet. Maybe they'll get done this weekend :)
Lovely!
What do you do with the larger heart and crescent moon shapes? Do you slice them? I have seen similar molds and was tempted to get them but then wasn't sure. Just curious
WOW, that is some crazy color! I haven't experiemented with colors yet.
Love it!
I was thinking mango by the sea, which would be horrible sense people would probably want it to smell like mango lol.
I love calypso
I think the initial question was just a bit broad. lol
I'm sure pizza boxes work great but I'm a recycling junkie so I use flats that would otherwise get thrown away.
It's kind of the same with "beer". Lets drink some beer sounds better to me than lets drink some beers.
I drink beer vs. I drink beers... the second kind of makes it sound like I've already consumed some! lol
I like soap or if you are going to pluralize it I like soapies! tehehehe
I agree.
I like that people here are friendly and open. On some other boards people are just jerks and downright vulgar.
Thanks for everyone's help in making another soap addict! lol
ooh, good idea! I do the same thing but with a shredded up bar of fels naptha instead of my own soap.
Also, the first time around I couldn't find washing soda so I used Oxy clean and it worked just fine.
Now I know what to do with all those scraps! :)
