Hi, Thank you for your interest, however I have sold nearly all the soap supplies. I just have the bag of Silica Gel left and 1-2 lbs of shea butter.

    Miscellaneous Soap Supplies!

I recently moved and won't be making any soap for quite some time and dont have room to store my supplies. Here is what I have for sale, the shipping will be actual shipping USPS or UPS, whichever is the better deal. I'd like $80 for all of it or I will split it up if you only want some things...

Can anyone tell me what this is?

I popped one in a dish in the microwave for a few minutes but nothing happened. I took a knife and cut it up and it just seems like wax to me.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

I picked up a box of various soapmaking etc. supplies at a sale, included was silica gel, dendritic salt, epsom salt, coconut oil, molds etc. And this mystery bag. Unlabeled orange chunks, no scent, feels kind of waxy when I dig my fingernail into it. Any ideas? is it just plain wax? Thanks...

    Selling Bath and Body Products

Thanks Tabitha for your time. I will call or research the county rules/regs.as I don't live within a city or city limits (just a little ole town, lol) I know my current Seller's Permit is fine for collecting taxes/paying taxes and selling it. Uggh, insurance.

    Selling Bath and Body Products

Okay thanks, I have been searching for this information but have come up empty handed so far, at least on the local level. I'm rural so the neighborhood thing is non-applicable and I live at my parent's without homeowner's insurance so.... From what I understand, I do not need to have the...

SALT SPA BARS / LET'S SEE YOUR PIC'S

I made salt bars once and am going to do so again soon. They set up very very fast, and I love how white they came out ( I did one in blue and one in green mixed in on top). For some reason the one I did in blue and ocean breeze scent was too crumbly although the batch was the same, split. I...

    Selling Bath and Body Products

My mom already makes bath bombs, they are properly labeled with ingredients, but we don't have a description of what they will do etc. on them. I am looking into making some sugar scrubs and whipped body butter. I know that the FDA has different rules for this compared to soap. How difficult...

    weight of soaps?

I actually make smaller bars, bars that fit nicely on soap dishes. Another lady who sells soaps at my local farmer's market makes hers a generous 6oz. and they last a long time! So I went the smaller bar route/little less expensive to the customer and have found them to sell well. Usually...

    My new soaps

Thanks! Thanks for the feedback, and yes, the brown sugar pecan does smell good enough to eat. I actually had someone try to take a bit out of my soap (a blackberry sample bar) at my local Farmer's Market. It was clearly labeled with a sign that it was soap; I guess she just got too greedy...

    My new soaps

Vanilla Poppyseed with ground Almond I used a Warm Sugar Vanilla fragrance oil, and was told this would not turn the soap brown. Upon pouring the soap, it continued to turn an almost flourescent yellow! It was bright, like lemon. And this is the final cured result: Uploaded with...

Stunningly gorgeous soaps! I was going to ask too if the are glycerin? It looks like it maybe, but hard to tell for sure.
