Thanks. I have hard water here so it's probably that. I just found the liquid soap making forum here. There is so much information. Someone recommended a book making natural liquid soaps so I ordered that too.

Do you find that the neem smell fades as the bar cures?

    Extracts

I'm making an anxiety/sleep tincture right now with California poppy, and hawthorn berry. You make balms too? I'm looking for ideas on a baby butt balm. My best friend is expecting this summer :)

    Acne bar advice

Willow bark extract has salicylic acid in it I believe. That or crush up non coated asprin. That would be more for a face mask. Kaolin clay draws out impurities. Neem oil is good but smells bad.

    Extracts

Has anyone grown their own herbs for extracts or infusions? In my last lotion I infused chamomile, common nightshade, and nettle in the diffused water. It made a great lotion. Wanted to share that bc it saves money. I know around here in nw Indiana, we have a lot of herbs that grow wild.

    Face lotion

OK thanks! Yeah I got percentages from the other site so I can make my own recipes. It's good bc now I can add or substitute ingredients. My girls and I are making a bath body candle baskets for Christmas gifts. Always fun
