If you need a Brut dupe, Save on Scents has it. I've used the "extreme" concentration and it accelerates like crazy but it is doable. The scent held well for me and smelled pretty spot on to my nose.

I always add FO to my oils before the lye, mostly because my favorite recipe (co, pko, palm, shea. cocoa butter, olive, rbo, castor) moves quickly anyway; and I get in a hurry to get it in the mold and forget the fragrance. o_O Secondly, with SOME FINICKY FO'S in my experience it CAN mitigate...

Welcome to the forum. yes, those are classic "glycerin rivers". I get them all the time. It's worse when I use TD. I blame the heat and humidity here in Florida. ;)

Love Nurture's Satsuna FO. It holds well for me at 1 oz. per LB, but I find that soap made with it seems to take FOREVER to firm up enough to unmold.

My aha moment was when I realized I could add my FO directly to my oils before the lye. No more dumping it out of the mold because I forgot the FO...again.;)

I couldn't agree more about the boiled eggs! They come out perfectly cooked, and peel perfectly EVERY time. I'll never go back to the old way.
