    Brambleberry soap app

You can switch the app to metric in the settings. Here's a little blog post I did about it. http://www.soapqueen.com/bramble-berry- ... -itouch-2/ Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Happy Soaping! Anne-Marie

    Soap Queen Phone App

I have the app for my android and love it! It doesn't slow my phone down at all (I hate the apps that do) and has all of the wonderful features as the iPhone app. I would definitely recommend it! Here's a link to the Soap Queen Blog so you can read a little more about it before you buy...

    Dragon's Blood - Bramble Berry

The soap turned out great - it looks fantastic. I have a love/hate relationship with Dragonsblood too. It's not my favorite musky scent (I'd take straight Patchouli over it any day) but yes, in candles, it is delightful and in lotions, I like it better than soap. =) Either way, your soap...

Help! What did I do wrong?

PS - Your soap is fine if it's just a partial gel phase. The look will just be a little different on the various areas of your bars.

Help! What did I do wrong?

I vote for partial gel phase as well. In my experience, it starts in the middle and spreads outwards from there.

    Ultramarine colors

There is more detailed instructions for using oxides in MP here: http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/08/ ... oxide.html But, in a nutshell: Before you add the powder to your soap base, you need to dilute it. This is my favorite way: 1. First, take a little cup and spray a few...

Looking for a good FFB sugar scrub recipie

Foaming Bath Butter is basically a frothy soap-like substance that cleans the body and suspends additives fairly easily. Think of a fluffy whipped cream - then imagine that it lathers. It's a completely synthetic product. Ingredients vary a little depending on who you're buying it from but...

Lotions all turn out with a vaseline feel - please help

Lecithin and Beeswax aren't particularly great emulsifiers for mixing water with oil. They work but they're not ideal. You might consider trying a 25 - 50% water addition and also do borax at a small %, 1% maybe? Borax can work as a secondary emulsifier when used in conjunction with beeswax.

Looking for a good FFB sugar scrub recipie

I did a tutorial on using FBB with sugar here: http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/10/ ... -gift.html http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/10/ ... -gift.html It's a pretty simple recipe: 2 lbs. Foaming Bath Butter 1 ounce fragrance 2 ounces of an emollient liquid oil 1 to 2 pounds of...

Made first batch of soap (from rebatch) - Newbie questions

Hi ILoveThe80s, I don't typically get great swirls with rebatching soap. It's more of a mashed potatoes oatmeal type of glop - and that doesn't swirl. There's a great rebatching tutorial here: http://moonstruckmagic.blogspot.com/200 ... i-was.html Lye is fine being exposed to the cold...

    Brambleberry

I'm sorry that some of you have had negative experiences with turnaround for our company. Part of that is that we're in Washington state so it's a full 7 to 9 days in transit from us to some place in the country and part of that (looking at the dates from 2007 with some of the posts) is just the...

Mea Culpa Hi OceanMember, I'm very sorry for the stress that we've inadvertently caused you. Our newest member to our customer service team accidentally cc'ed all the Lye Waiver people rather than Bcc'ed... (Balance of post deleted by mod)
