hehe... I ended up ordering it in a sample pack... so I'll get to find out first hand.
Would still like to hear what others think of it though. |

I have this! I'm sniffing it now... scents are so hard to describe.
I like it out of the bottle. It's a very sweet smell and I don't smell the mandarin so much, there is a little bit of a citrus undertone but it is not the main scent.
It smells a lot like this "Sparkling Lemon" Yankee Candle that I used to have.
It's very perfumey and I do like it a lot. I would recommend it (but haven't used it in anything yet - could smell different after soaped). |

I'll be soaping it this weekend. I'm real curious to see what this one soaps like.
I also got apple blossom, black canyon, blackberry sage, cappuccino hazelnut, coconut lime verbena, ginger peach, lavender( by request), love spell (by request) and wild mountain honey
Lavender and love spell do very well... same for lilac... everybody seems to like those. |

| yum you will love black canyon, it is my hubbys favorite, wild mt honey is my best seller, up north not in my town, weird! lovespell ok, i like wsp's better. coc lime verb is awesome, it smells just like bath n body. have fun, if you ever get french amber van, beware it acc- major and discolors to a dk brown, but kinda cool when you cut it its tan in the middle and dk brown on outside. |

well I finally got a chance to soap the mandarin plum FO ... I like it but it doesn't smell quite like I thought it would... the fruity sweet aroma of ripe plums definitely comes through but not detecting much if any of a citrus scent... maybe my sniffer is off? It is cold and flu season after all LOL
will have to wait and give a final determination on scent once it has had time to cure... I just made it yesterday so will be cutting it either tonight or tomorrow ... I'll try to post cut pics of it too |

well I got it cut into bars .... it does smell really good ... it didn't accelerate and no discoloration.. at least not so far ... granted I was experimenting with the ultramarines for the blue/plum color
I did two log molds so also decided to play around with design ... one is an attempted divided swirl and the other was just the two colors side by side...
so here they are ... my version of mandarin plum
